I have two distinct goals when writing a blog, A) posting new and interesting recipes that I'm fortunate enough to come across in my life and line of work B) to sound off on culinary and social injustices. I can't effectively do both from the same blog page so I've divided my efforts and sent the crusader in this direction and the cook in another. Here you'll find the place where hobbyist letter writer meets satirist meets sarcastic hater of North America's food culture. If these posts don't engage you in some way then perhaps you'll find the same humorous joy that I find in writing pointed letters to soulless corporations bent on world fat-domination; or ripping up crappy restaurants, who can't even offer service with a smile instead of expressionless glares.
